AMAKA | OUR WORLD FESTIVAL
To celebrate the launch of AMAKA - I devised, produced and promoted, Our World Festival, a virtual summit celebrating the diversity of Pan-African Womxnhood.
The virtual summit consisted of 9 events across 3 days which included a live yoga session, an Ethiopian cooking class, finance and business webinars including an AMAKA x YouTube Black content creator webinar and discussion panels on entrepreneurship, travel, sexual health and mental health.
The event saw a collaboration with over 30+ women and non-binary high-profile content creators, entrepreneurs and professionals located globally from across the African diaspora, some of whom included Dimma Umeh, Lee Litumbe (Spirited Pursuit), Beyonce hairstylist Susan Oludele, Patricia Kihoro, Nour Emam, Nneka J and Oloni.
The event saw over 1.1k sign-ups and attendees and significant growth across all social and digital channels, through leading the promotional campaign and strategy for the event (social, digital, & PR) alongside team.
