HBO | LEADING LADIES X INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY
To celebrate International Women’s Day I produced a private screening of HBO’s best female-led shows (Big Little Lies, SATC and Insecure), an afterparty and an all female industry panel discussion (Buzzfeed, Bauer Media, The Slumflower) hosted by BBC Radio’s Clara Amfo at London’s, Bulgari Hotel.
Following the creation of the event blueprint, HBO Canada also hosted free screenings and an ‘Insecure’ panel discussion at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) with 400 people in attendance.
The campaign saw a significant increase in digital sales of our female led titles such as GIRLS and Insecure, plus a growth in smaller titles screened such as Olive Kitteridge, Mildred Pierce, Divorce. International press, competition winners, and influencers invited across UK, Europe and Canada generated over 7 million impressions.
