Conceptualised and produced the social-first brand PR campaign celebrating the launch of AMAKA Studio, through creating the International Women’s Month Hero Interview series which featured the likes of Naomi Campbell, Nigerian superstar Teni the Entertainer, Kenya’s Victoria Kimani, Libyan-American activist Noor Tagouri and an interview en français between Moroccan songstress Manal Benchlikha and Siham Bengoua.
Talent involved in this campaign had a combined audience of 21.9 million followers on IG.

Gangs of Lagos & Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Secured AMAKA as an official outlet for the release of Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, resulting in an interview with Danai Gurira and Amazon Prime’s Gangs of Lagos, producing a video sit-down interview hosted by Bisi Akins with the leading ladies of the film.

Commissioned editorial partnership with best-selling British-Egyptian author, Alya Mooro and AMAKA.
The series is focused on amplifying stories from Northern Africa which is aligned with AMAKA’s key mission to bridge the gap between North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa , the series ran across web, email and social media.
AMAKA X YEMI ALADE:
AN EVENING WITH YEMI ALADE + AMAKA SOUNDCHECK SESSIONS
Collaborated with Nigerian superstar singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade, who has over 33m followers across all social channels, for a Media Partnership.
Ideated, produced and creative directed two part campaign which included:
An evening with Yemi Alade, where an audience of 200 guests including influencers and celebrities including Top Boy’s, Khadeem Ramsey and Eddie Kadi; watched as Yemi had a fireside interview with AMAKA Editor-In-Chief, Ivie Ani, before an intimate performance in London in celebration of Africa Day, securing CANEX and Southern Comfort as sponsors.
AMAKA Soundcheck Sessions x Yemi Alade: To support Yemi’s new single release ‘Begging’, Yemi sat down for AMAKA Soundcheck Sessions, a video series showcasing African musicians, providing fans with an intimate performance by their favourite artist, up close and personal.

AMAKA | WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
THE POWER WOMEN REEL SERIES
Collaborated with micro influencers from North, South, East, and West Africa, based on the continent and across the diaspora to create reels educating the AMAKA audience about female activists and changemakers from their regions.
The reel series was launched during the lead up to the launch of AMAKA’s first Digital Magazine release, The Power Issue.

Celebrating the release of ‘The Power Issue’, AMAKA’s first digital magazine focused on women activists and changemakers from across the diaspora, this interview series ran across Instagram Live and Twitter spaces, featuring the likes of ASA, Minnie Dlamini, Efya, Kelechi Okafor, Vanessa Tsehaye, and Najma Sharif.
Talent involved had a combined audience of 6.8 million followers on Instagram and 171.9k on Twitter.
AMAKA | BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH BISI AKINS
Social First Campaign - Collaborated with British-Nigerian content creator, Bisi Akins, an influencer whose key focus is African arts + culture.
For one month we created a four part editorial series (written + video) across web and social media (reels) which had a reach of over 65k and an increased average engagement rate by 1200% - driving growth across AMAKA’s social media channels and traffic to the AMAKA website.
